Got A Robe? State Seeking Applicants For Supreme Court
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Want to serve on Minnesota's highest court?
Gov. Mark Dayton is seeking applicants for a spot on the Minnesota Supreme Court. Justice Alan Page will leave the bench in August when he hits the mandatory retirement age of 70.
Page has served on the Supreme Court for 22 years. His departure gives Dayton a third appointment to the state's highest court.
Applications for the vacancy will be open until April 10. A panel of attorneys and judges will review applicants and forward recommendations for Dayton to choose Page's successor.
