The Minnesota Golden Gopher men's basketball team beat the Michigan Wolverines 83-78 in overtime Sunday night at Williams Arena. The Gophers have now won as many Big Ten games this season, eight, as they won overall last season.

The Gophers were led by Jordan Murphy, who scored 16 points and pulled down 15 rebounds. Dupree McBrayer added 15 points off the bench for Minnesota in the win.

The Gophers are 20-7 overalll and 8-6 in the Big Ten Conference. Next up for Minnesota is a trip to Maryland Wednesday, where they will take on the Terrapins.
