Gopher head football coach Jerry Kill is sticking with junior Marquis Gray as his starting quarterback against New Mexico State this Saturday.  Gray was 7-12 passing for 94 yards and ran for 47 yards in the loss against USC Saturday.  Gray left the game in the 2nd half with cramps and was replaced by freshman Max Shortell.  Shortell played well throwing for 98 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception.  Kill says Shortell could be used in certain situations as quarterback with Gray moving to receiver.

The Gophers are 0-1 and will host New Mexico State at 2:30 Saturday, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 1:30.
