EAST LANSING - The Minnesota Gophers put up a fight and tied #5 Michigan State on their home court in regulation, but ultimately fell 87-75 in overtime.

Andre Hollins scored 24 points to lead the Gophers. Keith Appling also scored 24 to lead Michigan State.

Michigan State lost a five-point lead in the last 15 seconds of regulation. The Spartans would strike back in overtime however, scoring the first nine points to help secure the win.

The Gophers are now 13-4 this season. They return home to face Ohio State on Thursday night at 8:00 p.m.
