Gophers Look For Trip To NIT Final Four Against Southern Miss Tuesday Night On AM 1390

The Minnesota Golden Gopher men's basketball team may have missed out on the NCAA Tournament, but if they are disappointed it isn't showing in their play in the National Invitation Tournament.

The Gophers (22-13) defeated High Point in the NIT opener, then topped St. Mary's to advance to Tuesday's quarterfinal game with the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

Southern Miss checks in with a 29-6 record on the season including NIT wins over Toledo and Missouri.

Tonight's game at Williams Arena tips off at 8 PM and can be heard on AM 1390 The Fan with pregame coverage beginning at 7:30. The winner advances to the semifinal round at Madison Square Garden on April 1st.
