Gopher Women Lose To Northwestern

The Gopher women's basketball team lost at Northwestern 62-55 Sunday afternoon.  Minnesota was led by Kiara Buford with 15 points and she surpasses 1,000 points in her career.  The Gophers led by 6 points with 12 minutes left but couldn't hold the lead.  Minnesota will play at Michigan Thursday at 6pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:30.
