Gopher Women Edge Northwestern

The Gopher women's basketball team defeated Northwestern 63-58 Thursday night to get their first Big Ten win this season.  Katie Loberg led the Gophers with 21 points, Kiara Buford added 18 points and Kionna Kellogg added 8 points and 15 rebounds for Minnesota.  The Gophers are 9-12 overall and 1-7 in the Big Ten.  Minnesota will host Michigan Sunday at 2pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 1:30.
