The Gopher football team won their first Big Ten game this season 22-21 over Iowa Saturday afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium.  Minnesota came from down 21-10 in the 4th quarter to sneak by the visiting Hawkeyes.  The Gophers win the traveling trophy with Iowa (Floyd of Rosedale) for a 2nd straight year.  Marqueis Gray ran for the go-ahead touchdown with 2:48 left.  He threw for 193 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 62 yards and another score.  Duane Bennett ran for 101 yards and a touchdown for Minnesota.

The Gophers improve to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in the Big Ten.  The Gophers play at Michigan State next Saturday at 11am, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 10am.
