The University of Minnesota Golden Gopher men's basketball team beat the Maryland Terrapins 89-75 Thursday night in College Park. The win is the Gophers' sixth straight, and improves the team to 21-7 overall and 9-6 in the Big Ten Conference.

Dupree McBrayer led Minnesota with 18 points, while Nate Mason added 17 and Akeem Springs 16 points in the win.

The Gophers will host Penn State on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. on AM 1390 KXSS. Pregame coverage begins at 1:30 p.m.
