The Gopher men's basketball team lost 63-59 at Iowa Wednesday night and were sweep in the season series by the Hawkeyes.  Minnesota led by 10 with 12  minutes left but were outscored 28-14 the rest of the way.  The Gophers were 10-19 from the 3-point line but committed 15 turnovers while Iowa commmitted 10 turnovers.  Minnesota was led by Ralph Sampson III had 13 points and Julian Welch added 12 points.

The Gophers fall to 4-6 in the Big Ten and 16-7 overall.  Minnesota will play at Nebraska at noon Sunday, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 11:30.
