OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Minnesota Timberwolves could not keep up with the Golden State Warriors and their dynamic duo of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in Saturday night's 110-97 loss.

Thompson finished with 21 points and Curry led all scorers with 25 in a game that was not as close as the final score would indicate.

Minnesota could not come back as the Warriors led by 21 as the teams entered the final quarter.

The Timberwolves were led by Thaddeus Young's 17 points and newcomer Troy Daniels impressed in limited action.

Daniels, who came over in the Corey Brewer trade from Houston, scored 14 points in just nine minutes on the court.

With the loss, the Wolves fall to 5-24 on the season and will travel to Utah to take on the 10-20 Jazz on Tuesday.
