Glenice Clarine Clough, 83, Elk River

November 8, 1933 - December 31, 2016

A Memorial Service will be held at the Elk River Lutheran Church ELCA on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 1 PM for Glenice C. Clough who passed away on December 31, 2016 at the Elim Home in Princeton. Family and friends may call from 12 noon to the time of the service. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Glenice was born to the late Clifford and Gladys (Elvida) Jorde in Iowa on November 8, 1933. Glenice married David Clough on April 12, 1953 in Thief River Falls, MN. Glenice and David were married for 63 years. She was a bookkeeper for Cargill Research Firm for many years and retired in1999. She enjoyed rosemaling, shopping, collecting decorative plates, Bible study and genealogy.

Glenice is survived by her husband, David; son Rick (Kathy Preuss) Clough of Hayward, WI; daughter Julie (Ken) Nathe of Elk River, MN; Sister-in-Law Diane Jorde of Woodbury, MN; Nephew Mike (Beth) Jorde of Redding, CA and their children Kristan and Sara; Niece Diane Jorde of St. Croix Beach, MN and Linda (Erick) Aarthun of Cottage Grove, MN and their children Ashley and Jorde. Glenice is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Glenice is preceded in death by her parents and brother Marvin Jorde.
