MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A 7-year-old Minneapolis girl who police say was abducted while playing with friends has been found after she was dropped off a few blocks from her home.

Police say the girl was taken from north Minneapolis at about 3:00 p.m. Saturday.

Spokesman John Elder says a man approached the girl and her friends and asked if she would help him find his puppy.

The girl left with the man.

She was dropped off less than two hours later.

Police are still searching for the suspect, who was described as a white man in his 30s with a spotty or pockmarked complexion.
