Girl On Bicycle Hit By Car Leaving Alley

ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud girl hurt her wrist after she was struck by a car coming out of an alley.

St. Cloud Police say the incident happened just after 9:00 p.m. Friday at 9th Avenue and 13th Street South.

Police say a 17-year-old driver was exiting the alley when he hit the 11-year-old girl who was riding her bike on the sidewalk.

The girl was taken to the hospital via ambulance but suffered only minor injuries.

The 17-year-old driver of the car was not cited because of poor visibility at that intersection and because the girl was riding on the wrong side of the street.
