Funeral services celebrating the life of Gilbert P. “Gib” Schiller, 85, of St. Cloud will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. Gib passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Country Manor Care Center in Sartell. Reverend Janine Olson will officiate. Burial with military honors will be held in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Gib was born on September 11, 1930 in St. Cloud to the late Anton and Anna (Aschenbrenner) Schiller. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Carol Marx in St. Cloud in 1958 and she passed away in 1971. Gib owned and operated King’s Inn Supper Club and was a salesman in various capacities over his life. He was a member of the St. Cloud Eastside Veteran of Foreign Wars #4847 and the Waite Park American Legion #428.

He is survived by his daughters, Victoria (Pat) Sufka of Tampa, Florida, Christine (Terry) O’Hara of St. Cloud; four grandchildren, Adam, Jacque`, Samantha and Shane; great grandson, Aiden; former wife, Marge Pfannenstein of St. Cloud; stepsons, David, Steven (Sally), Jeff (Sue) and Tom (Shari) Blair; brother, Robert of Sartell; and sister, Florence Lushanko of Shoreview.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; brothers, Dwaine, Arnie, George; and sisters, Irma Ruzic, Delores Tatro and Eileen Lau.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Country Manor for their professional and compassionate care.

Memorials are preferred to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or St. Cloud Technical High School.
