Funeral services will be at 10AM on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Legend’s of Heritage, Sartell for Gerald “Jerry” A. Flaschenriem, 74, of Sartell and formerly of Kimball who died Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Legend’s of Heritage in Sartell. Pastor Victoria Klinnert will officiate and burial will be in St. Anne’s Cemetery in Kimball at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Jerry was born on December 19, 1941 in Kimball to Frank and Margaret (Steman) Flaschenriem. He grew up in the Kimball area until moving to St. Cloud in 1980. Jerry married Ramona “Mona” Stanger on May 1, 1980 at the Methodist church in Paynesville. He worked at Baker Square, Elks Club, driving for Donnay’s Milk Truck, Green Giant; and most recently at Carefree Living in the maintenance department. Jerry had a solid soul and always walked strongly in his faith. He was a past member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Jerry enjoyed garage sales and finding good deals. He had a great sense of humor and compassionate heart. He is now walking hand in hand with his Lord and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Jerry is leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Ramona “Mona” of Sartell; daughter, Deana of St. Cloud; stepchildren, AJ (Sue) Houk, Dan (Rosie) Houk of Sauk Centre, Pat (Todd) Holm of Paynesville, Cathy (Rod) Stubbs of Becker, Don Bengtson of Hastings, Kristi Bentson of St. Cloud; sister, Linda Flaschenriem of Blaine; nephews, Frank Flaschenriem, Nicholas Flaschenriem; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and cat, Zorro.

The family he joins again are his parents; siblings, Henry, Dale, Nick, Rita; brother-in-law, Wally; and niece, Tootsie.
