Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN for George Patrick Posch, Jr. who died on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital, in St. Cloud, MN. The Reverend John Odero will be the celebrant. Burial will in the St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 4:00 P.M.to 8:00 P.M. and one prior to the services on Thursday, all that St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening.

Junior, as he was known, was born on June 5, 1955, the son of George and Mary Ann (Euteneuer) Posch, Sr. in Little Falls, MN. He grew-up on the family farm near Bowlus. He attended grade school at District #1189 in Bowlus and high school in Holdingford, graduating in the class of 1973. He married Gloria Dickhausen in 1976 and two children were born to this union.

He worked various jobs, until 1974 when he went to work for Polar Tank Trailer in Opole, MN. Over his 41 years there, he worked as a finisher, seamer, assembler, welder, and operator/layout which was his final position. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Local #165 in which he twice served as a steward.

In his younger days, Junior enjoyed racing his cars in the ¼ mile at various tracks in central Minnesota. He loved everything outdoors. This included hunting, fishing, gardening, cutting wood and helping on the area farms. He was also known to help anyone with anything.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church of Bowlus, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Junior is survived by; his son Jason (Melita) Posch of Bowlus, MN, his daughter Kimberly (Daniel) Fuentes of Milwaukee, WI, his four grandchildren; Xander, Xerie, Grace and Isaiah, his brothers and sisters; Kathleen (Richard) Knorr of Minnetonka, Jeanette (Albert) Schlangen of Bowlus, Robert (Catherine) of Avon, Richard of Bowlus, Terrence (Lisa) of Winsted and Brian (Molly) of Avon, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
