Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014 at St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake for George A. Toenjes, Jr., 83 of Clear Lake who passed away at his home on Tuesday. Rev. Virgil Helmin will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives may visit from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake and one hour prior to services also at the church in Clear Lake on Friday. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Clear Lake.

George A. Toenjes, Jr. was born on March 3, 1931 to George and Mathilda (Maleska). He was united in marriage to Delores Rettmann in 1952 and she passed away in 1980. Later that year, he was married to Marjorie Stimmler. George was a farmer and lived in Clear Lake all of his life. After retiring from farming in 1979, he drove school bus. George was a member of St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake. He was also a member of the Sportsman Club and the National Rifle Association. George loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and vegetable gardening. He was a loving, caring and happy man who was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and neighbor.

Survivors include his loving wife, Marjorie of Clear Lake; daughters and sons, Kathy (George) Kujawa of Clear Lake, Gary (Tami) of Annandale, Diane (Bill) Hays of Chattanooga, TN, Cindy (Don) Hansen of Magnolia, TX, Christine (Larry) Folkenson of Apple Valley, Cyril (Kim) of Tulsa, OK and Mike (Janet) of St. Cloud; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores; one sister; six brothers; and four grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
