Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Jubilee Worship Center in St. Cloud for Geneva F. Reimer, age 81, who passed away Tuesday at her home. Pastor Mark Johnson will officiate and burial will be at North Star Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church.

Geneva was born Jan. 4, 1935 in St. Cloud to Paul & Rose (Winkelman) Hinkemeyer. She grew up on a farm in Duelm and married James Reimer on June 18, 1956 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duelm. Geneva was a homemaker and also was a candy striper at the St. Cloud Hospital, worked at the Sauk Rapids Hardware, sold World Book Encyclopedias and Queens Way Clothing, and worked at Cash Wise for 25 years. She was a member of Jubilee Worship Center where she was involved with the Good News Food Shelf and also the Message Program. She enjoyed, water aerobics, knitting hats, shopping at Kohl’s, playing cards, spending winters in Donna, TX, camping, gardening, painting, bowling and babysitting her grandkids. Geneva was a faithful, kind, and caring woman who was involved in her family’s lives and activities. She had a way of making each person feel special. She made a blanket for each grandchild and great grandchild that will be cherished forever!

Geneva is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim of St. Cloud; children, Keith (Sally) of Foley, Michele (Mike) Gaetz of St. Cloud, Mark (Peggy) of Foley, Karla (Kevin) Partch of Sartell, Marilee (Gregg) Pflipsen of Foley, and Kurt (Bethany) of Sauk Rapids; brothers and sister, Glenn (JoAnne) Hinkemeyer of Sauk Rapids, Clyde (Sandy) Hinkemeyer of Foley, and Janice (Pat) Kipka of Sauk Rapids; sister-in-law, Mardelle (Marv) Stangl of Pierz; brother-in-law, Carl Lien of Sauk Rapids; 24 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Otto, Marvin, and Daniel Hinkemeyer; and sisters, Violet Murphy and Anita Lien.
