Frozen In Time: The Falls Ballroom [VIDEO]

LITTLE FALLS -- This week in our Frozen In Time series we took a trip out to Little Falls to get the big scoop on their ballroom.

Al Dietz and his wife Lucy first opened The Falls Ballroom in 1950. Over the years they've hosted hundreds of weddings and special events.

The venue looks the same as it did when it opened 63-years-ago. In 2010 Will Threlkeld and his wife Tiffany bought the business after completing his military duty in Iraq.

Will says it was a dream of his to buy the ballroom and continue his passion for cooking.

Many people have had their first dates at The Falls Ballroom. Will says his own grandparents had their wedding reception there.

Will plans to make a few minor renovations to maintain the upkeep of the building which include re-doing the roof.

He says he hopes one of his three children will take over the business one day and carry on his new tradition.
