Friday Is The Last Day To Apply For Vacant Sauk Rapids City Council Seat

SAUK RAPIDS - Sauk Rapids residents have until the end of this week, if you're interested in filling a vacant seat on the city council. Letters of interest are due at the Government Center by 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

So far just one person has officially applied.

An interview date has yet to be set, but those selected to be interviewed will be contacted.

The vacancy is because council member Kurt Hunstiger will be sworn in as the new Sauk Rapids Mayor later this month.
