ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud city officials continue to stress the importance of letting the water run in one faucet in your home.

St. Cloud is one of several Minnesota cities that has been experiencing freezing water lines, due to the frost line going deeper into the ground.

Mayor Dave Kleis says it will cost you about $1 a day let run your faucet at least the width of a pencil.  You will have to pay that bill, but St. Cloud residents can have their sewer rates adjusted.  You can call Public Utilities at 255-7225, and ask them to put you on a list to adjust your sewer rate.

It was in 2009 the last time we had this problem of freezing water lines.
