Freezing Rain Forces Delay in Allegiant Airlines Flight [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD – The freezing rain on Sunday forced Allegiant Airlines to cancel their flight from St. Cloud Regional Airport.
Airport Director Bill Towle says the flight was scheduled to take-off at 3:15 p.m. He says they tried to get the flight off on schedule, but the weather just didn’t cooperate.

Towle says they have most of the same equipment at bigger airports like Minneapolis-St. Paul International — which also had a lot of delays yesterday (Sunday).
That cancelled Allegiant flight is now scheduled to leave at 11:00 a.m. this morning.
