ST. CLOUD -- Kids will be able to get free dental care this week at Apollo High School.

Lil' Flossie, the Operation Grace Dental Van will be at the school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week from 8:40 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Community Development Director at the St. Cloud Salvation Army, Jim Muellenbach says a variety of services will be provided to kids.

"It's an RV and it have two dental chairs in it, and then they also bring the supplementary truck that has some hygienist chairs that they set up in the building. During the time they are working on it they can do some dental processes, we do cleanings, fillings, and extractions. "

Muellenbach says getting kids access to dental care now will help prevent dental health problems in the future as they become adults.

"When they are coming to a place like the Salvation Army shelter, you're dealing more with adults and you have more of them with teeth problems. Hopefully they are able to catch it at a school, catch it early enough to head off some future problems."
