Free Competition Offered for Area Youth

St. CLOUD -- The Boys & Girls Club of Central Minnesota and St. Cloud Park and Recreation is hosting a free baseball competition for area youth.

The Aquafina Major League Baseball "Pitch, Hit & Run" Competition will take place Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on Field #10 at Whitney Park.

The program will match kids based on their age group. The individual pitching, hitting and running champions, along with the all-around champion in each age and gender group will advance to the sectional level of competition.

Team champions will have a shot at competing at Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and fill out a registration form prior to the start of competition. A waiver is also required, which can be filled out at the time of registration.
