Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Franklin Jochum, age 80, who died Thursday at his home. Burial will be in St. Boniface parish cemetery, Cold Spring.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, and Tuesday 9:00 – 10:30 a.m at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m.

Franklin was born in Cold Spring to Frank and Anna (Raden) Jochum. He married Juanita J. Trujillo on July 18, 1964 at St. Boniface, Cold Spring. Franklin served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Cold Spring Granite Company from July 9, 1957 to March 1, 1996. Franklin’s hobbies were cooking, fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with family, and grandchildren. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and Last Man’s Club – Korean War

Survivors include his wife, Juanita; children, Rosita Leen, Tony Jochum, Carmen (Michael) Rucks, Sharon (Chris Huhn) Jochum and Carol (Troy) Lundell; siblings, Jeanette Liestman, Irene White, Marjorie Forsman, Victor (Lyn) Jochum, Virginia (David) Johannes, Theresa Eells, Patty Klang; sister-in-law, Nancy Jochum; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Frank Jochum; siblings, Donald Jochum, MaryAnn Leen; in-laws, Jerry Leen, Bernard Liestman, John Forsman, George White, Gorden Eells and Karl Klang.
