Franken Stopping in Royalton

ROYALTON - Royalton will welcome U.S. Senator Al Franken to town tomorrow (Saturday).

He'll be meeting with local officials at 1:00 p.m. about the city's efforts to increase energy efficiency and cut costs.  This week Royalton installed solar panels on city hall.

Senator Franken is a member of the Senate Energy Committee and recently launched his "Back to Work Minnesota" initiative to create jobs by retrofitting public and private buildings to make them more energy efficient.
