UPDATE: Fox News Anchor Charged After Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport Arrest
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A police report shows Fox News weekend anchor Gregg Jarrett may have taken a drug that didn't mix well with alcohol when he was arrested at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Jarrett is charged with a misdemeanor count of obstructing the legal process. Police say he appeared intoxicated when he was arrested Wednesday.
The police report says Jarrett told another customer at Northern Lights Grill that he'd taken medication, but he denied that to police.
The report says Jarrett had pills with him and was unsteady. Police say he became agitated and struggled with them in a holding cell.
Jarrett has been off the air since mid-April and is on a personal leave.
The police report says he was recently released from an alcohol or drug treatment facility.
