Four Hurt in Atwater Crash Involving Semi

ATWATER -- Four people were hurt in crash in Kandiyohi County Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened near the intersection of Highway 12 and Garfield Street in Atwater, shortly after 12:00 p.m.

The State Patrol says 34-year-old Jacob Streich of Atwater was driving west on Highway 12 when he lost control, went across the center lane, slid sideways and struck a semi that was heading east.

Streich and two of his passengers, 34-year-old Amy Grubbs of Atwater and 4-year-old Kylee Thompson suffered from non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the semi, 56-year-old Kevin Lang of Cold Spring also had non-life threatening injuries.
