Four Arrested During St. Cloud Meth & Heroin Bust

ST. CLOUD - Four people were arrested on Thursday during a drug bust in North St. Cloud.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force used a search warrant at 126 20th Avenue North. During the search, methamphetamine and heroin were found inside the home.

Several people were home at the time of the warrant, one person had an active domestic abuse no contact order forbidding them from being at the home.

Two others tried to escape by kicking out the windows in the basement. They were both later found and had warrants for their arrest.

60-year-old Paul Taylor and 21-year-old Daniel Olson of St. Cloud were arrested for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance. 25-year-old Sarah Anselment and 33-year-old Joshua Meinstad of St. Cloud were arrested for outstanding warrants.

All four were taken to the Stearns County Jail.

The search warrant was based off of information from the local neighborhood watch program and from citizens talking to St. Cloud Police during the National Night Out event.
