The St. Cloud Rox have announced that former Minnesota Twin Gene Larkin will be on hand for the May 30th home opener at Joe Faber Field. The Rox open the season on May 30 with a game against cross-town rival Willmar.

Larkin played seven seasons with the Twins and is perhaps most remembered for his World Series-winning pinch hit in game seven of the 1991 series with Atlanta at the Metrodome.

The Rox had former Kansas City Royal Bret Saberhagen throw out the first pitch of 2012, followed by former Twin Greg Gagne in 2013.
