ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A former St. Paul Boy Scout has filed a civil lawsuit, claiming he was sexually abused by two scout leaders more than 40 years ago.

In his lawsuit filed in Ramsey County District Court, John Doe 152 claims the Boy Scouts of America and the local Northern Star Council failed to protect him from his abusers.

The lawsuit says molestation happened in 1968 or 1969 when the plaintiff was about 12 or 13. The St. Paul Pioneer Press (http://bit.ly/1KwSO5m ) reports the man says he was assaulted by one of the leaders at the Tomahawk Scout Reservation in Birchwood, Wisconsin. He alleges the second leader assaulted him during a campout at the Cannon Falls Scout Camp in Cannon Falls.

Northern Star Council spokesman Kent York says the organization has worked to incorporate protections for young participants.
