ST. CLOUD -- A former St. Cloud business owner has been sentenced to prison on drug and criminal sexual conduct charges.

Forty-six-year-old Andrew Frederick was convicted of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct for fathering a child with a 15-year-old girl. He was also found guilty for selling illegal prescription drugs from out of his downtown St. Cloud iPod Guy store in 2013. Frederick pleaded guilty to a separate 3rd degree drug charge in April.

Members of the Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force used a search warrant at the iPod Guy store in October 2013. The search was based on two previous undercover drug buys at the store located at 900 West St. Germain Street.

Police say Frederick sold undercover officers prescription painkillers. Police seized Oxycontin and Percocet pills at the store. A 17-year-old girl and an 18-month-old child were also at the store. The girl told police she was Frederick's girlfriend and the child was hers.

Police used a DNA test to determine the child was Frederick's and that the child was conceived when the girl was only 15-years-old.

Frederick was sentenced in Stearns County District Court to three-and-a-half years in prison. He must also register as a sex offender and be on conditional release for 10 years after he serves his sentence.
