Former Ground Round Building Sold to Car Dealership

ST. CLOUD - The former Ground Round property in St. Cloud has been sold.

Scott Schmitt of Coldwell Banker Commercial says DM Motors of St. Cloud has bought the building and the lot.  They're currently located near the corner of Division Street and Memorial Drive.

Schmitt says the new location will allow the car dealership to expand and add more staff.  They are planning on taking over the property by the end of this year.  It hasn't been determined yet if they'll use the existing building, or if they'll tear it down and build a new one.

The building has sat empty since the Ground Round closed it's doors in July of 2011.
