The well -known musical Forever Plaid makes its way to the Pioneer Place on Fifth Theatre this weekend.

Based on the 1990 Broadway musical comedy, Forever Plaid focuses on one band's journey to the afterlife for one last shot at musical glory.

Main characters Sparky, Jinx, Smudge and Frankie come to life on stage, literally.

On their way to a Beatles concert Forever Plaid's dreams are cut short when they are hit by a bus full of local Catholic school girls.

Pioneer Place Theatre artistic director, Dan Barth says the biggest challenge of this play was learning the many songs and harmonies.

The play goes from now until May 12th. For show times and ticket information visit their website.
