FOLEY -- A Foley woman was recently featured on Destination America's "Deep Fried Masters." It's a competition show that features deep-frying enthusiasts from across the country competing for the Golden Corndog Trophy.

Amanda Zerebko owns a food truck called "Fried Food Fantasy." She sent in an audition tape to be on the show and says she was surprised when she got a call back.

Six people competed in a three-round format including the Signature Dish round, Fried Food On a Stick round and the Judge's Choice round. Zerebko says there's a lot more that goes on behind-the-scenes on a television set than she realized.

Zerebko won all three rounds of the competition and took home the Golden Corndog Trophy. She submitted Cheesecake Chimis, for the Signature Dish round. Zerebko says in addition to the cheesecake filled torilla deep fried snack, she also enjoys making beer battered shrimp.

Deep Fried Masters Minnesota State Fair Edition aired last Saturday on Destination America. She says she hopes the show will help land her food truck a spot at the Minnesota State Fair. She's currently working on an audition tape to be featured on the food show "Chopped."
