Foley Woman Honored By Red Cross

FOLEY -- A Foley woman has received an annual award from the American Red Cross.

Janice Springer received the Ann Magnussen Award for outstanding contribution to the programs and services of the Red Cross.

The award is the highest honor in nursing achievement and was awarded to Springer at the organization's National Awards and Recognition Dinner last week in Washington D.C.

Springer has worked with the Disaster Health Services of the Red Cross of central Minnesota for 12 years.
