OLEY - The Foley City Council has fired it's Chief of Police. Today (Thursday), during the continuation of a city council meeting that started on Tuesday night, the council voted 3-2 to terminate Brant Standridge.

City Administrator Sarah Brunn says the Council cited concerns regarding personality conflicts, and procedural concerns related to vehicle usage, scheduling and documentation of time and hiring.

Standridge was hired in 2012 to head-up the newly formed Foley police department.

The Foley City Council will meet again on Monday at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the hiring of an interim chief.
