BELGRADE -- Five people were hurt in a crash in Stearns County Friday night.

The incident happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Highway 4 near Belgrade.

The State Patrol says Noah Polipnick of Sauk Centre was driving an SUV northbound on Highway 4 just north of 260th Street when he drifted across the southbound lanes. Polipnick went into the west ditch, struck a field approach and landed in a field.

Polipnick was not hurt in the crash. Four of his five passengers, 14-year-old Gabriel Polipnick, 11-year-old Christopher Polipnick, 11-year-old James Polipick and 14-year-old Domenic Ritter suffered from non-life threatening injuries.

7-year-old Anastasia Polipnick is seriously hurt. She was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center to be treated.
