Often overlooked or thought of as “for deep water only”, lead-core line can make the difference between success or failure when fishing for walleye on Mille Lacs.
To say that Jerry Carlson took me to school once again during a recent visit to WJON would be an understatement.
Lead-core line was something I had only heard of, didn’t understand at all, and certainly hadn’t tried.
