ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Police Department is getting a new piece of life-saving equipment thanks to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

Firehouse Subs is donating a portable defibrillator worth $1,300 for use in the police department headquarters.

St. Cloud Police Commander Brett Mushatt says they have the devices with them while out on patrol, but now will have one at their headquarters in case of an emergency.

Firehouse Subs is holding a news conference next week to announce more than $118,000 in life-saving equipment to 13 Minnesota agencies.
