EDINA, Minn. (AP) - The H&M clothing store at the Southdale mall in Edina has been closed after a fire that police call suspicious.

The Edina Fire Department got the call around 10:30 a.m. Friday after a piece of clothing caught fire. Sprinklers kept the fire contained and it was out by the time firefighters arrived.

Smoke and water damaged both floors of the H&M, but the store is hoping to reopen over the weekend.

Nobody was injured but city spokeswoman Kaylin Eidsness says the fire look suspicious and the investigation is ongoing.
