Fire Crews Battle House Fire North of Richmond

RICHMOND -- Fire crews were called to the scene of a house fire last (Friday) night.

The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. at 24003 County Road 9 in Munson Township, just north of Richmond.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 48-year-old Josh Brown, of Richmond, came home to find his house filled with smoke and called 911.

Fire crews were able to put out the blaze, but the home suffered heavy fire damage.

No one was hurt. Authorities say the cause of the fire is unknown and is being investigated by the State Fire Marshall's Office.
