Fill the Flyer Campaign Proves a Great Success

ST. CLOUD -- Wednesday's Fill the Flyer Food Drive held by Metro Bus at Summertime by George proved to be a huge success.

They collected 3,300 pounds of food and $1,310 in cash donations.

It is estimated that $1 can buy between $4-$8 worth of groceries. And with the matching grant the total dollar amount is doubled.

All food and cash donations collected will go to local food shelves.

Last summer’s food drive, Metro Bus and partner businesses collected over $600 and 3,000 pounds for local food shelves.
