Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in Princeton for Ferdinand “Ferdie” Trebesch, age 85, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Pastor Bob Rusert will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Thursday. Masonic services will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bellwood Cemetery, Zimmerman.

Ferdinand “Ferdie” was born on October 25, 1932, to Henry and Helene (Struckman) Trebesch in Springfield, MN. He was a proud veteran and served his country in the United States Navy. Ferdie married Callie “Ellie” Playle on June 22, 1955. He worked as the chief of police in Zimmerman and as a Sherburne County investigator for the length of his career. Ferdie enjoyed working on farm equipment, hunting, boating, and spending time at the lake cabin. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Ferdie is survived by his son, William “Bill” (Peggy) Trebesch of Andover; daughter, Helene Trebesch of New Ulm; four grandchildren; and brother, Henry “Hank” (LuAnn) Trebesch of Litchfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ellie on November 21, 2001; and siblings, Anna, Albert, Kenneth, Martin, and Glen.
