Father of Man Shot by Police: Officers Should Be Prosecuted

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The father of a man who was shot in November by Minneapolis police says he wants to see the officers prosecuted for his son's death.

James Clark spoke to reporters on Thursday, a day after a prosecutor announced he would not use a grand jury to determine if the officers who killed 24-year-old Jamar Clark should be prosecuted. Instead, the prosecutor will make that decision himself, possibly by the end of the month.

Jamar Clark was shot in the head on Nov. 15 during what police said was a struggle. But some who say they saw the shooting said he was handcuffed. He died a day later.

James Clark says he wants the truth to come out and he wants the officers to come forward and say what happened.
