MANKATO, Minn. (AP) - The family of a Mankato man killed at an auto repair shop has filed a wrongful death lawsuit.

Brady John Schaffer was killed in December 2014 at Tire Associates when he was run over by a Mack truck while working there.

Reports say Schaffer's family is suing the employer of the truck driver who ran over him. The lawsuit filed in Blue Earth County District Court asks for damages and funeral costs from Leavenworth Silage Company of Sleepy Eye. The truck driver was not charged in the fatal accident.

Schaffer's family alleges the driver was negligent and his employer is liable.
