Family and Friends Say “Goodbye For Now” To Soldiers Bound For Afghanistan

21 soldiers were honored in a deployment ceremony today at the National Guard helicopter base in St. Cloud.

The soldiers will train beginning on April 24th in New Mexico in preparation for a one year deployment to perform medical evacuation support in Afganistan.

They were seen off by a host of local and State officials, including Governor Mark Dayton.

The company represents 18 communities around Minnesota and Wisconsin.
