MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Family members say one of the two people killed in a Minneapolis house fire was the bedridden homeowner.

Arthur Kennedy says his 78-year-old aunt, Mary Frances Rowe, died along with another person in the fire Sunday. Four other people, including Rowe's son, were hospitalized with injuries.

Relatives say the house had been in the family for decades and was a gathering spot for holidays and summer barbecues with extended family members.

Minneapolis Fire Chief Alex Jackson says the first truck to respond to the fire got stuck in the snow. Jackson credited firefighters who worked to get to the scene, despite the storm conditions.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
