Fake Craig’s List Ad Leads To Missing Snowblower

ST. CLOUD -- The case of the missing snowblower's been solved in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud police were called to the 1400 block of Oak Ridge Lane just before 7:30 p.m. last (Wednesday) night.

A 50-year-old man told officers he left his snowblower at the end of his driveway after it stopped running.

An unknown person put a posting on Craig's List as if they were the owner and stated that it was free for anyone to pick-up.

An unsuspecting person saw the ad and came and got the snowblower.

St. Cloud police made an appeal to the news media and the person who took the snowblower contacted them.  The snowblower has now been returned to it's owner.

Police are still looking for the person who placed the ad online.
